Mykaela Johnson, MPH, Program Manager

Mykaela Johnson is the Program Manager at the Big Cities Health Coalition.  

Before joining BCHC, Mykaela served as a health program supervisor at the Mecklenburg County Department of Public Health in Charlotte, NC. In this role, she supported a grant-funded project to advance community-informed solutions for trauma-informed care, resiliency, and youth violence prevention.   

Mykaela received a master’s degree in public health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a bachelor’s degree in the history of science, medicine, and public health from Yale University.
