Strong funding for CDC needed to protect health of U.S. communities

BCHC signed onto a letter led by the CDC Coalition to request $11.5 billion for CDC’s programs in FY24. CDC has remained underfunded for years which affects its ability to respond to the health challenges the country faces. In order to have the most effective prevention programs reach all states and communities, CDC must have strong funding.
