Oshane Mcrae

Oshane Mcrae, MPH is the Government Affairs Specialist at the Big Cities Health Coalition at NACCHO.

Prior to joining BCHC, Oshane served as a LEAD intern in the District of Columbia’s Executive Office of the Mayor where he developed data driven initiatives designed to improve the transparency, performance and efficiency of the Mayor’s community outreach and stakeholder teams. Previously as an Emerging Scholar Research Associate with the Urban Institute’s Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy, Oshane also worked with local and national nonprofit researchers and leaders to integrate data networks and lay the groundwork for the first national longitudinal dataset on nonprofit data.

Oshane holds a Masters of Public Health from the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies from Vanderbilt University.
